Room Description
An affordable bed in the shared mixed dormitory on the upper floor of the café building. The dormitory has 9 beds in total. Bed linen is available for an additional fee. We encourage guests to bring their own for sustainability reasons.
The room can be heated with a wood-burning stove if needed.
No Pets
Pets are not allowed in the upper floor rooms. If your pet is joining you on the trip, please book one of our ground floor rooms (Alapirtti 1 or Alapirtti 2).
Kitchen & Drinking Water
All guests have access to the kitchen downstairs. The kitchen is suitable for making breakfast or evening snack. It is equipped with a fridge. For instructions on how to use the facilities, please contact our customer service.
Drinking water is available from a nearby well (Suomu pihakaivo well). You can also buy water in 5-litre canisters at the café.
Electricity
There is electricity in the building, suitable for light use.
Washing Facilities
There is no shower on site. You are welcome to rent a sauna session at the Suomu Lakeside Sauna or the Suomu Garden Sauna.
Dry Toilet
There is no indoor flush toilet. Guests can use an outdoor dry toilet.
